Our menus have been completely redesigned to feature a new spin on classically prepared french inspired Vermont country cuisine. Food is prepared with the freshest, most locally sourced and finest ingredients available. Dining is available in the bistro pub, restaurant and private dining room, as well as in our exclusive and highly regarded wine cellar.

Chef Chris Bonnivier

From an early upbringing in a French restaurant to training at Johnson and Wales, to his experience with classical French technique at Roger Verge’s Moulin de Mougins and beyond, Chef Chris Bonnivier brings talent and expertise to the Hermitage Inn. Under his guidance the restaurant is a thriving and exciting culinary experience.

Wine Cellar

Started by Jim McGovern in the 1970s, our exhibition wine cellar currently holds close to 5,000 bottles and has a maximum capacity of 7,000. With a focus on wines from France and California, The Hermitage Inn has once again been recognized by Wine Spectator with an Award of Excellence.
